Hello.
I have two gearboxes for my Scirocco 2, 1.8l. 1989 mod. My engine is type JH. But I discovered that it is different markings on gearboxes. One is labeled ACD4 and the other is labeled AUG3. Both are 5 speed, and I think both fit on JH engine, but anyone know if there is any difference on these gearboxes?
Regards
Ragnar

Thank you Lars.
Then I can conclude that attach to the motor and drive shafts are the same on ACD4 and AUG3?
it's nice to be a member of the sciroccoforum and get good answers

Yes, these two gearboxes are completely interchangeable and compatible with all the parts bolt onto it. Don't forget to change the oil, it really makes a difference.
