What about the OEM Data sheet, so called "Fahrzeugbrief" ? In most cases of export/import the authorities in the country the car was imported in can create local documents based on (then translated) documents of the country the car was exported from and the COC. But I don't know if for the Scirocco a COC already exists because of the age of the car. Maybe you can check theese possibilities, a COC will make it so much easier to import a car into a foreign country in Europe.

OK, that makes this operation then a lot more tricky. But what is about Volkwagen Norway ? I think the car was officially exported to Norway during production time so there are no official documents to get for the car from Volkswagen Norway ? I could imagine the sales types in Norway were the same like those in the FRG.

Thanks for the great tips. I'll check with the authorities in Norway about what they approve.
I sent the request to the importer of VW in Norway, but they can not / will not help me. This is because all Scirocco Typ 53B is only imported privately. Vw Norway imported it not to Norway because of high taxes before on this type of cars. Scirocco 1 there are some, and Scirocco 3, there are many of in Norway.
