Junkyards in Europe
Can you tell me the location of junkyards across Europe that have Scirocco part's? Preferably in Austria or the Bavarian part of Germany.
I'm looking for:
"16v" bodykit (which we got on almost all later mk2 sciroccos)
green front windshield and co drivers side windows
Also where could I get the cheapest white turn signals for the mk2?

Re: Junkyards in Europe
There's currently a group-buy going on for smoked and clear indicators for Mk2 Roccos, both ion Germany (contact Dirk Schneider, but use Email only!!!), and through me for the UK, and potentially other countries (at the moment Ireland), excluding the USA (contact Dave Fertal for the USA).

Re: Junkyards in Europe
Try Dirk, if you're getting no joy, try me again. Might be a bit more expensive, as I would need to ship from the UK.

Re: Junkyards in Europe
TITan,
The yards are hit or miss on Sciroccos now.
When I was in Germany in 1989 I found SHOW quality MK1s (Golfs mosty) and several clean rust free MK2 Sciroccos in the junk yards. By 1998 the German junk yards were full of what I call good clean cars. Now you will be lucky to find one (I think). Dirk's E mail stopped working some time back. He is a great guy. Please do not take too much of his time as he is Inundated with so many questions about Sciroccos each day.
Good luck. Finding the parts is part of the fun.

@ Titan:
See my post a bit further above, where I've given you Dirk's email address. That address definitely works.
Just give him a few days, as he's been away on a business trip, so probably catcjing up with loooooaaaads of emails.
If no joy, then I now have a spare set (just ordered another 10 sets for the UK, 28 sets in total
) that I could reserve for you.
