I found this old picture that I have had for 25 years from the 1983 Frankfurt show of what looks like the white Pearl Cheetah with the Kamei X1 bodykit (the personal car of Mrs. Karmann).
Note the side pillar. I think this one has a side badge.

You are right, thats my Cheetah. The side badge ist the old GT sign. In the years it is getting lost. But now he is getting it back. I will make some new pictures this Summer.

The 1971 Karmann Cheetah was designed by Giugiaro, exploring the folded paper design (sharp corners and edges), just ahead of Giugiaro then designing the Asso Di Picche, which the Mk1 Rocco is based on.

Fair point, only it would be sacrilege to mod a car like this one. Only 1 made. It would have been interesting to know what Mrs Karmann thought of the alloys
