Sciroccoforum

As most of you may know I have been driving Sciroccos for as long as I can remember. Last year I got an offer to drive something a little different. So I snuck out and drove a Ford Escort. The car was very well setup and had great power. After the event I took the wheels and race tires home and put them on my Scirocco. So I am thinking that no one noticed. Then I find out the Press is lurking and taking pictures again. I can’t hide. Now I am shown driving a Ford, A FORD!

Thats what I get for driving a Ford, just one race series!.......

Me too, I owned a 68 mustang. At the time a Scirocco was too expensive.
The shame of it all.

Ranger trucks are fantastic for fetching Scirocco parts with. :-P

This is a pic of the nice wheels I got for driving the Ford. Now the wheels are on my Scirocco!

Given that I have to drive one of these b*stard things for work (Escort van ), I'll join you.

Ranger trucks are fantastic for fetching Scirocco parts with.

As are Escort vans, chuck a whole Corrado rear axle in without even needing to worry which way round it fits best

Nope. It was mine...I used it as a daily as I was bringing the scirocco up to roadworthy-spec, but once I started driving the roc I dreaded having to drive the truck so I sold it to a friend's brother that needed a car. He drove it into the ground in a matter of weeks. (

I'd buy another one if I found a clean one.

Come to think of it, Doug, someone else has now joined the Ford-camp, albeit through one of their acquired brands. Without wanting to name and shame anyone, the person in question now drives a LPG-powered Vulva, erm, Volvo V70

I had a Volvo wagon too.
It was a great car (1972). I wish I still had it.
