Just had time to check your schedule, so you are already at the Nuerburgring when everybody else will arrive.
Meeting point should be the parking lot at startup for tourist drivers, easy to find for everyone i think.

@Dirk
L would be perfect if possible, XS for Manu. Thanks in advance!

@ Doug and Tempest
I think, you want to visit Karmann? If not, we could meet Gas-Rocco, who leads the others to the camping area, it is planned in this thread :

edit: just asked in that thread, if the others would start a little bit earlier, so that we could join the convoy to Osnabrueck.

I've just come back from a day down in Canterbury (business again), a lot of catching up to do, and kicking my local garage, who are failing to repair my brake lines and hoses on my Corrado (haven't got enough time to do that myself before the big trip over to D, so paying them to do it :kotz: , and they can't fit the Goodrich braided hose kit that I gave them  , so need to have a look tomorrow what's going on ... ).

Anyway:

@ Lars:
>I think, you want to visit Karmann?

Yes, definitely!!! That's the other main reason why my GB-bunch and me are coming all this way to Germany. I was wondering already whether Günni's travel schedule was too tight, as according to Martin, we're supposed to be at Karmann by 12 noon. They also haven't confirmed the meet-up point yet. Gosh, I want to finish my info-pack for my people, and there's still so much detail missing from the organisers :-( I suppose I'll have to phone Martin again, who's now no longer with the No-Name Team (internal politics, but keep that on this side of the forum, please :zwinker: ) to see what his plans are for Karmann. He did confirm that Breford will grant us access to the museum one last time.

>Meeting point should be the parking lot at startup for tourist drivers

I was planning on checking in at the hotel first (only a smallish detour), dumping our camping gear there, and then carry on to the ring. Mind you, the ring won't open till 17:15 or so, will it? Hence was thinking of meeting at the hotel, then going on to the ring entrance, if that's OK with you.

@ Dirk:
>Please send me an e-mail with all the names

Will try and do this asap.

>As you remember I have ordered them in autuum 2004 , but since then I have received only one, as all the X5 came without protection until today..
I got two today, one will be mine and one will be yours

:super: Yeah, had actually given up on those :verlegen: Mind you, the urgency has greatly diminished since my C is parked up in its own garage, but still, you never know when it might have to get back outside again.

@ Doug:
>Even UK English is so different than Cali slag

That won't be a problem, we'll soon sort you out  Visions of us all communicating by text message on our mobile phones :hihi:

The visit of Karmann will start at 1 P.M., so we´ll meet Gas-Rocco´s convoy at 10 A.M. at motorway station "Schloss Roettgen".
So we´ll have to start at 8.45 A.M. from guesthouse "Pitzen" to arrive on schedule.

Sh*****ttt!!!!

Just had a call from Doug and Kathie, and missed it on my mobile as I was packing my Corrado for a show at Tatton Park, UK, tomorrow, arrrghghhh!!! :bang:

They're stuck in Heathrow as of tonight, no onwards flights to Amsterdam :-(

Can't call them back, as it's a public phone booth, bit late now anyway. Can't go down to Heathrow tomorrow, as I've got to go up to Tatton Park :-(
